Welcome to Finish Line Racing!

FLR was formed in December 19th, 2009, by our founder, Saltine713. He is also the founder of Team Project Lone Ranger (PLR). Saltine713 and Team PLR used to belong to another racing community in the past. However, things became too tense over there and PLR agreed they needed to expand, thus they have created Finish Line Racing.

FLR is a casual and fun racing community for anyone, and everyone! We want to make your Forza racing experience better. Most of us here are very nice and respectful people and pretty easy to get along with. We race with clean and mature people here at FLR, so if you're looking for this type, then FLR is the spotlight for you!

We are on several networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. You will be able to access all types of information regarding FLR, all the news/updates at FLR, and videos of the events that has been happening. We will also provide our Sunday Newsletters every Sunday during the day that is presented by our formal member, MAKO 6669, on Facebook. He has been doing a tremendous job with it over the past year and a half, and we can't thank him enough for all he's done to provide his services. We hope that his future will hold great results and he will continue his service! Please give him a thumbs up, a handshake (you'll have to know how to do a secret flipper handshake as he's a shark!), and be sure to say hello! You never know if you're going to end up in his next newsletter!

We always have moderators patrolling the threads, making sure there are not any profanity or likewise. We intend to make this league more of a relaxed and fun experience for everyone to enjoy. We host contests, tournaments, challenges, etc. If there's an event that you don't like or see that you would like to join in, why don't you try and make one yourself and see if you gain any interest? FLR is a great place for you to get some fun experiences and make your very own custom events! This builds up strong bonds with the racers and it's really fun! We also accept any advice for new ideas that you may have. We just want to make sure you are happy here!

Over the past two years, there has been numerous amount of events and changes that have taken place in FLR. All the way from Production Model Racing to Le Mans, Drags to Drifting, and so much more has been provided. We will continue to provide those types of events and more will arrive! We have NASCAR in development currently, as well as multiple other events that are taking place. We can't thank everyone enough for everything they have done for FLR, and we hope that we can have another wonderful year here!

Since the first anniversary in 2010, we have given away a bunch of really cool stuff, such as: In-Game Forza Credits, Microsoft Points, Gift Cards, XBL LIVE Cards, and other cool items that have been given away! For the 2nd Anniversary in 2011 we have done the same thing, except we have provided more than we did last year! For FLR's 2nd Anniversary we have given away over 15 million in-game credits to our FLR members, some were Longest Active Members, some were Active Members, including new members and the staff that have provided a lot of help in the past! Everyone has a chance to win something in FLR, no one should be excluded!

whats the difference between a club and a team?

Well, the teams are more structured. You must be a member of the team to use their colors and liveries. Some, but not all, have organized races and series which only team members can compete in. A driver number is required to be on a team and compete in team sanctioned events, and must be displayed on your car during such events. ( Technically, driver numbers are required by the league to compete as well )

Clubs on the other hand, are generally more laid back. While most of the clubs do have an official roster, most club events are open to any who wish to attend. Most do not have any official paints, and driver numbers are usually not required during events.

Around the Forza world, being a member of a club or team also gives you the benefit of shared tunes and paints, which non-members would not have access to. Here in FLR however, we tend to share everything for the asking, regardless of team or club affiliations.
